The following two parallel technical tours (14:00 hrs. to 17:00 hrs) will be organized on the 1st day of conference i.e. 18th December 2019. Minimum number of participants for tour to be operational is 25 each. Only the registered conference delegates will be allowed to register for one of the technical tours.

Maximum number of participants forneach tour will be limited to 40 only. The technical tour registration is open to all on first-come-first serve basis, and the online portal for the same has been opened. Last date for confirmation of tour is 7^th December 2019.

The tour fee will be Rs 500/- for each tour per participant.

Technical Tour -1: Intelligent Transport Management system (Smart City Bhopal) .

As part of smart city initiatives Bhopal Smart City Development Corporation Limited (BSCDCL)has taken up project for Smart traffic management – Integrated Traffic Management System (ITMS) which provide greater information to the authorities to proactively manage the ongoing traffic situation, enhance traffic discipline through effective enforcements and increase road safety by preventing accidents and allow citizens to make informed travel choices. With ITMS, the overall burden of traffic on the roads will reduce, and will result in enhanced reliability for the citizens and local businesses improving overall productivity levels.

Technical Tour -2: Redevelopment of Habibganj Railway Station (Bhopal).

Habibganj station is the first railway station to be redeveloped through public private partnership mode under the station redevelopment program of Indian Railways. Total Estimated cost of works towards station redevelopment is Rs 100 Cr and estimated cost towards commercial development is approx. Rs 350. Cr. Letter of Acceptance dated 07.6.2016 has been issued to the Selected Developer i.e Consortium of M/s Bansal Construction Works Pvt. Ltd., (Lead Member) and M/s Prakash Asphaltings & Toll Highways (India) Ltd. (Consortium Member)). Concession Agreement is likely to be signed within a month. The lease for commercial development is for 45 years and licence period for station O & M is for three years of construction followed by 5 years of O & M.
